Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Question: How does this differ from the guides I’ve seen online?
    • Answer: A lot of those guides are incomplete and while everything may seem fine at first, you might run into issues when getting your site put together.  We take all the guesswork out of everything, installing necessary packages to make ecommerce sites possible.  You no longer need to spend hours of your time on how-to’s.

  • Question: Do I need a Domain Name?
    • Answer: Not for a local website, but it is needed for a public website.  You can get one from a site like Godaddy and it’s much cheaper than getting hosting and a domain since you are only buying a domain.  They can be purchase for as low as $1.99 for a year.
  • Question: Do you track anything?
    • No.  Nothing is tracked. The code is sent in a linux executable that anyone can open to see what it is doing.
  • Question: Does access to this app ever expire?
    • No.  You pay the one time price of $1.99 and it’s yours forever! We limit the downloads to 3 to prevent piracy.  If you need to download it more than 3 times, simply email us and send a copy of your original order confirmation that was emailed to you.
  • Question: Are there limitations to the number of times I can use the utility?
    • You can install this on as many devices as you own but sharing is prohibited.  If you know others who would like to use the utility we ask that they purchase it for the low price we sell it for.
  • Question: Why use a Raspberry Pi for web hosting vs my home computer?
    • While your home PC may have more power than a Raspberry Pi, it also draws more power and would require leaving on 24/7 to do something very minimal.  A Raspberry Pi is perfect for serving websites from your home.
  • Question: Will this interfere with my internet?
